Party Recap...
Our little Max loves Cowboys so it was the perfect party theme! I made a bunch of food in theme and we kept the decorations simple making most of them ourselves. One of my favorite things was the 'campsite' area with the hay bales that provided us with the extra seating we needed. Everyone seemed to have a great time, especially Max, which is what's important.
Party Highlights
Best Moment
Seeing everything all come together while setting up and thinking that 11 months of planning had come together well.
Most Touching Moment
Max receiving a 'Woody' cowboy doll from his Nana, which he wouldn't let go of!
Funniest Moment
Max crying while everyone sang 'Happy birthday' to him.
Best Dressed
Max before he started to remove bits of his costume, but his Nana, Grandad, Aunty's, Uncle and cousins looked pretty cool too.
What People Ate
Cowboy cookies. Red Velvet Cucpakes, Smores Pops, Chocolate Birthday Cake, Summer Fruit Platters, Potato Wedges, Sausage Rolls, Chicken Nuggets, Sandwiches (cut into cacti and cows).
What People Drank
A selection of soft drinks, fruit juices and chilled water were offered. All drinks were served from mini milk bottles with too cute stripped paper straws.
