Maya's Magical Unicorn Birthday

Maya wanted a magical unicorn birthday and that's exactly what she got! We even surprised her with a visit from a REAL unicorn...that was definitely the highlight of the party.

The party was held between lunch and dinner so the menu was sweets, sweets, sweets. We served cake, cupcakes, unicorn bark, and fairy bread all made by mom. There was also fruit, kettle corn, and of course unicorn horn lollipops. As another surprise we rented a cotton candy machine and the kids went nuts over the freshly spun cotton candy!!

It was a beautiful day so the party was held in the back yard and there were a couple activities for the kids. There was a photo backdrop complete with the most adorable photo props, a wand making station, and a necklace/bracelet making station.

Our surprise visit from the unicorn was definitely the highlight of the party for everyone....both the kids and adults. It was so awesome to watch the excitement on the kids' faces when they came around the corner and saw the unicorn standing there! Everyone had their turn sitting on the unicorn and we snapped a picture on the Fuji Film Instax camera of each child and sent it home with them so they could capture the memory of meeting a REAL live unicorn
The day was such a fun success!!
