Makayla's Spa Party

It was all hands on deck for this breathtaking, exquisitely styled spa-themed party. Event staff spared no creative expense in carefully piecing the intricate details of this party together. This spa-themed event transformed a quaint space into a posh upscale, full service spa. Blown Away Events and Services are known for their unique ability to capture their clients’ idea and exhaust that idea throughout the event, and this spa-themed celebration was no exception! Outside of the venue was a custom framed “Makayla’s Spa Party” sign designed exclusively by Blown Away Print Services. From the moment guests entered the door, Blown Away Events and Services staff were standing by to ensure that guests were properly checked in. For this party, the check-in included a plush white terry cloth robe and comfy flip flops, along with a colorfully personalized card that detailed the “services” in which the guest had selected for that day. The guests were then able to style their flip flops with colorful and multi-textured ribbon. This bold, bright, crisp yet playful event was masterfully designed to entreat as well as welcome its guests. The guests were then escorted to a flowing black and white damask covered table contrasted with a vividly sharp textured fuchsia runner splitting the middle. At top the tables were black elegant wire form dressed fitted with dazzling fuchsia tutus and equally elegant flower accents. To add to the grace of the table, small lightly pinked hydrangeas arrangements were placed in delicate square glass vases. This exquisite table was used for the guests’ facials and manicures. Pre-prepared with custom printed placemats and bottled waters, miniature pink foot tubs for manicures with white rolled towel accents tied with pink ribbon, and mini two sided mirrors for facials. The guests were able to avail themselves to various stations managed by Blown Away Events and Services staff throughout the celebration. Blown Away Events and Services fantastic transformation of space was exemplified through this event. The guests were able to enjoy a light lunch, provided by the client, at a damask draped table, fitted with individual place settings of luminous fuchsia plates atop silver chargers and bright fuchsia linen napkins folded and draped. Centering the table were two majestic black candelabras holding pink candles and offset by the softer touch-of-pink hydrangeas. The spa-theme was especially sensed in the pedicure station where guests could relax in comfy covered chairs with a snuggly fuchsia or black neck pillow and read magazine while warming their feet in a bubbly oversized pink foot bath. The sheer pink backdrop, highlighting the lighted “SPA” lettering affixed within a dark coated frame. While waiting to for a professional manicure or pedicure, guests were able to adorn themselves with colorful beads at the Bracelet making station, or pick up a boa, a hat, frame, oversized glasses and lipstick and have their picture taken with friends at the Fashionista Photo booth. The focal table drew guests in for sweet delights: cupcakes, rice crispy treats, crisp wafers (playfully referred to as “nail files”), and cake pops in the likeness of OPI nail polish bottles (provided by Marisol’s Creations) a candy station, and much more. Amiss all of the fantastic items on the table, the highlight of the table was the custom backdrop designed and constructed by Blown Away Events and Services. The elegant backdrop, draped in black and white damask with tailor-made signage, offset by two regal black candelabras affixed to pink fabric lining, hoisting white candles- the color and texture contrast was awe-inspiring. The detailed styling of this spa-themed event exemplifies one of Blown Away Event and Services key elements of taking a theme and exhausting it throughout an event. This event left our clients truly blown away, one stating, “You cannot just view the pictures…these events must be experienced.”
