Party Recap...
We had so much fun celebrating Megan's first birthday! Even though the highs were supposed to be in the triple digits, the humidity was low, there was a great breeze and we were mostly shaded so the heat was not bad at all.
We had an amazing turnout! Almost everyone that was invited came! Mike and I are so thankful for our wonderful friends and family that were just as excited as we were to celebrate our sweet baby girl.
My mom and I had set up special kid-centric seating areas and games. They loved the kiddie couch and chairs, but weren't so impressed with our homemade games. I had pin the bow on the Goose and a big fishing game set up with prizes and everything. They were not interested in those at all. Every single kid wanted to play with the little toddler fishing game I had set up in a baby pool. They also enjoyed playing with the Cozy Coupes.
The other big hit of the party was "Megan's first year: the movie". I spent countless hours on this masterpiece and was so happy with how it turned out. It ended up being 15 minutes exactly and I was so worried it would be too long. It was perfect! It played on a loop in the living room so the adults that lingered in there could catch bits and pieces of it at their leisure. It was a popular feature.
