Melbourne Cup Luncheon
ByParty Recap
This Circus table was provided for a restaurant client who was offering a Carnival themed event for their Melbourne Cup lunch yesterday and I styled the table centrepieces for them as well which were jars with a gold sprayed circus animal glued to the lid with a roll of old-fashioned looking raffle tickets inside for a fun touch..
I have wanted to do a Circus themed lolly table for ages but being that this was a table set up for adults rather than children I decided to stay away from the traditional deep red and gold colour palette and instead use those as accent colours to compliment a predominately aqua and white table. I have a gorgeous aqua, gold, silver and white tassel garland from The Flair Exchange that I had been dying to use for months so decided this was the perfect table for it to make its debut! The carnival cupcakes were provided by the Cupcake Parlour in Brisbane who always do a brilliant job for me ο and the rest of the table was filled with blue, red and white lollies, mini chocolate bars and packets of fairy floss β definitely appropriate fare for βThe Greatest Party on Earth!β.
