Selected as Party of the Day on April 10th!
Mia's Mermaid 4th Birthday
ByParty Recap
I was obsessed with mermaids as a child, so this party was so much fun to style. I started by illustrating the mermaid for the invitation and printables for my shop, www.printsforevents.com . From there I chose the rest of the colors and everything came together pretty easily. The main focus of the party set up was the dessert table with a gorgeous paper tassel backdrop by www.onestylishparty.etsy.com . We had a cake, sand dollar cookies, shark gummies, caramel popcorn in paper cones, and cotton candy. Decorations included sand dollars and starfish from www.thefulfilledshop.etsy.com , balloons, gold confetti, pink roses, and all the printables. The banquet table was my favorite part. We used aqua and lavender paper plates with some adorable seashell napkins from Paper Source and gold flatware with seashell tags tied to them. The center of the table was draped with a DIY pink dip-dye table cloth. Instead of a guest book, we had a "Message In a Bottle" station where guests left sweet messages and stuffed them into a cute glass bottle from the trusty Target dollar spot. Party favors were glass jars full of blue cotton candy, labeled "Sea Foam." I had so much fun saying this party, and I hope you enjoy the photos!

Hi Anne! I believe it was lemonade with a little blue kool-aid in it :)
