Party Recap...
Miles and his dino-buddies enjoyed an all things dinosaur party. We devoured carnivore, herbivore, and sweetivore food. We played it easy with a triceratops pinata and let the kids play with the many dinosaur toys in the playroom. The party was done on a budget, but even as cheap as it was I still think it turned out great.
Party Highlights
What People Ate
"Carnivore Chili", "Stegosaurus Salad" (greens with a homemade delicious red onion vinaigrette & caramelized slivered almonds), "Rhondadon Rolls", and the kiddies ate dinosaur shaped chicken nuggets, cheese, and dino-fruit snacks.
What People Drank
"Volcanic Lava Juice" (Capri Suns) for the kids and water for the adults
Dessert
"Velociraptor Vanilla Cupcakes" (vanilla bean cupcakes with cream cheese frosting), Blue Chocolate dino-lollipops, "Tyranosaurus Track Cookies" (sugar cookies with cinnamon & sugar sprinkled over dinosaur imprints)
Activities / Games
Banging around the triceratops pinata
Budget
After adding it all up, I spent no more than $130 on everything. For a breakdown of the money go to my blog. www.embellishgoods.blogspot.com
Party Favors
Brown paper sacks adorned with dinosaur straw cups (Albertsons), dino bubbles & crayons (Party Store), Slinkies (Michaels Craft Store), and Plush Magnetic Dino-Buddies (Michaels Craft Store).
