35th Birthday Dinner with a Masculine Touch

Marcus is a successful husband, father, and leader of the Memphis community; therefore, her wife of 12 years thought it would be fitting to plan a surprise birthday dinner party in his honor. Since this was a surprise dinner, the overall idea was to have a masculine-modern rustic feel, intimate event with close friends and family.

Marcus’ 35th dinner party was held at No. 2 Vance in Memphis, TN. Original sliding doors, exposed brick and hardwood floors created the perfect space for a masculine dinner party. Studio 1524 was the primary designer, providing modern rustic decor that brings warmth to monochromatic spaces.

The guest were welcomed with delicious appetizers and cocktails prior to the arrival of the guest of honor. Close family and friends enjoyed themselves on an outdoor deck, overlooking the mighty Mississippi River. Guests then made their way indoors for dinner, viewing a modern-rustic space consisted of wood and metallic decor.

All enjoyed a delicious birthday cake from Sprinkle Me Silly. This unique cake consisted of a buttercream “wood” texture, topped with delicious dark and milk chocolate custom pieces.

Marcus’ 35th dinner party was indeed an amazing event to him, and those that he cared for most.
