MooMoos & TuTus 2nd Birthday
ByParty Recap
I had a hard time deciding on a theme for my daughter’s second birthday and was torn between a classic farm party (because she loved cows so much) and a ballerina party (because she loved dancing so much) and then it hit me – do both! I decided to throw a MooMoos & TuTus Party, pun intended for it being the second birthday. I loved how original this was and appreciated the fact that this wasn’t something you had seen on Pinterest a thousand times. This was fun for both boys AND girls. All of the girls received pink tutus to wear and the boys received handmade cow print ties. We played a bunch of kid games in the "kid corral" (punch a bunch cow, tutu water toss, milk can toss and cow pin bowling) and served cookies and what other than MILK!? We knew we couldn’t serve beef at a cow party so we served Chick-Fil-A where it is encouraged to “eat more chicken!” I served prepackaged boxes of "kids meals" which included Chick-Fil-A nuggets, cooked carrots and grapes. As a party guest I always get busy making plates for the kids and I never get to eat so having the kid sized table with the kid meals allowed the parents to enjoy a hassle free lunch! The kids received tulle wands and cow whips to run around with. It was a lot of fun as you can see by the photos.
