The universe has been telling me for months that I needed to throw a Neapolitan Ice Cream themed party. Really! All the element just kept throwing themselves in my path! Who am I to say "no" to the universe? My fate was sealed when a new cupcake shop opened up less than a mile from my house--and not just ANY cupcake shop. A place called TopIt Cupcakes, patterned after top-it yourself ice cream parlors, but with CUPCAKES. And painted in Neapolitan ice cream stripes! Once the pastry chef from TopIt Cupcakes agreed to let me host the party, it was a done deal!
The concept was and April Fool's Day party, a party where nothing was quite as it seemed at first glance. Combined with the Neapolitan Ice Cream theme, that meant that everything looked like ice cream...but wasn't.
