Party Recap

My sister is expecting her first child, a baby girl. To celebrate Nina's arrival, we organised a babyshower tea party for her. The theme were vintage bunny. We mostly used things we had from previous parties. At the entrance were a baby shower paper garland we made of free printables. The guests were welcomed with a pre-drink in glass bottles which were wrapped with doilies and lilac garland. The pink stripe straws had vintage flower and gold glitter flags on, made out of washi tape. The tables were decorated with blue polka and vintage rose table cloths. Each guest had a vintage rose or vintage colored teacup and small plate at their seats. Also did we make use of vintage laminated placemats I made for a previous party (Emma's vintage paper doll party). Pink flower vases with flowers in, were used as centrepieces. Also did we place ceramic bunnies to create the theme. The grass placemats brought life to the bunnies. Also were colored chinese lanterns hung from the wooden beams of the ceiling.

The food table were decorated with greige and white table linen and a golden sequinced bow in front. The food were placed on different platters and cake stands at different heights. Chinese lanterns and pom poms were used as backdrop. Gold and ceramic vases were placed with flowers in. Also did we place some of the gold vases with flowers on the window sills.

To make the opening of the presents interesting, we played a bingo game and prizes were handed out.
