SOOOO lucky the weather was sunny, a bit windy but I'm not complaining.
What People Ate
We had Hot dogs and chilli dogs with an array of salads, crisps and other party foods. My brother in law is a butcher so he provided the sausages and my other brother in law is a chef so he cooked it all! Bonus! My husband is a market gardener so the salads were sorted.
In the evening we saved the top tier of the cake and let Olivia smash it up.
Most Touching Moment
Olivia really loved everyone singing happy birthday
Olivia of course, but all of the children and babies were dressed up too.
I made, cake pops, rocky road, cup cakes, caramel shortbread. brought apple and cherry pie. And my husband got 6 watermelons (red and yellow flesh - they went down a treat)
Activities / Games
We had a baby rodeo, a large ball pit, a baby play area, an Indian tepee with totem poles (made from old nappy boxes) and a western town made from a paint your own card board wendy house. We also had a large photo prop reward poster and for the adults a horse shoe toss. A friend arranged a parachute game which the older kids enjoyed.
when the party tent nearly blew away!
