Our Little Miss Sunshine turns 1!

To celebrate our daughter Aiyana's 1st birthday, we held a Little Miss Sunshine pink and yellow birthday party. We hired a local hall and invited our closest friends and family. Despite the terribly windy weather, the day was a huge success. The children had a wonderful time playing games and eating the delicious party food.

• What People Ate

  A mix of delicious party food, including Little Miss Dotty's fruit cups, Little Miss Princess' fairy bread, Mr Jelly's jelly cups, Mr Tall's cheese and vegie sticks, Little Miss Sunshine's cupcakes and Mr Greedy's cookies.

• What People Drank

  Mr Cool's drink stand included water, cans of soda and juice boxes for the children.

• Desserts

  A yummy Little Miss Sunshine chocolate cake, along with vanilla and chocolate cupcakes and Mr Greedy's sunshine cookies.

• Party Favors

  Each child received a Mr Men or Little Miss book of their choice, a pink or yellow bubble wand and a CD of 'Sunny Songs'. There was also a candy buffet with a variety of candy for guests to take home.

• Activities / Games

  We played pass the parcel, Mr Grumpy's cornhole toss, Mr Strong's tin can knockdown, Mr Happy's ringtoss and Mr Bounce had a ball pit for the younger children.
