Party Recap

Not a lot of people are familiar with The Pajanimals but my son, Bentley is obsessed with this show and has been for over a year. So when the time came to plan his 2nd birthday party, for me it was an obvious choice for the theme. I quickly found that there was NO Pajanimals party out there to get ideas from. I love being creative and making everything "themed" so I had my work cut out for me on this party. Which prompted me to submit it so that other people could find ideas.
Pajanimals is a show created by Jim Henson that comes on the Sprout channel. It is a show similar to the Muppets. There are four main characters which are puppets. They are always in their room (you never see the parents). One or more of them will have a "problem" and at night when its time to go to bed, they go into a make believe world to "get help" to resolve the issue.
We made this party very intimate with Bentley's closest friends and family and at home. We had about 50 people here, lots of which were children. It wasn't a beautiful day for a party (cold and rainy) but we had a beautiful time making lots of memories and that is all that matters. We had all themed foods relating to the Pajanimals including: Apollo's Rocket fruit kabobs, Cowbella's Crown Sandwiches, Cheese and Squackers, Sweet Pea Sue's Daisy Puffs, Ellie the Octopus dip and chips, Jerry Grahams, Granny Pearl's turtles, Twirly Whirly Pops and Night Sky Pops. We also had milk and cookies, handmade Pajanimals and number 2 cookies (Yadkin Valley Cookies), cupcakes and an adorable Pajanimals cake (Lily Cakes). All of our print work (invitations, door sign, table signs, thank you tags, and food tents) I ordered from a shop on etsy named: 3 smitten kittens. She specializes in printables from the Sprout channel. All of the rest of the decorations I made myself. Again, I had to be resourceful since there wasn't a lot out there for me to purchase already made.
We had Pajanimals books on display and his Pajanimals movie playing in the background.
Bentley had an absolute blast and I think even at two, he really enjoyed the theme of his party. He kept pointing at everything and smiling which made it all worth it.
