I recently had the opportunity to style a spa and beauty themed princess party for a 5th Birthday. I was given free reign to style this princess theme as I chose and I opted for a soft shade of pink and light purple.
This is my first foray into princess party styling and I wanted to use pretty details , like the birdcage centerpieces with flowers, to compliment the soft color palette.
For the tablescape I used off white birdcages and filled with pink flowers and pink and white place settings with mini gable boxes and princess wands. For the favor and treat table I envisioned a jewelry "trunk show" style display to showcase the baubles for the girls. I also used small apothecary jars to showcase larger favor items such as pens, stickers, and mirrors. Each guest was given a pair of earrings, rings, bracelets and necklace as part of their princess transformation. I didn't want to just sit the rings or earrings on the table so I made mini boxes to house each ring, and labels for the earrings to keep in the "trunk show" style presentation.
For activities at the party, the girls colored Princess coloring pages, made princess charm bracelets as well as having their nails painted, and make up application in the party colors. To get the girls up and moving we also played princess bingo, pass the tiara, and pin the crown on the princess.
