Perfect Princess Tea

This was a small, intimate tea party featuring some very talented performers from Kamloops Princess Parties & Events. Once the decor was set up, I could just put my feet up and relax because those entertainers did a fabulous job!

We began the party with the children sitting down with the princesses. They took time to learn everyone's names and their favorite animals. Then Little Mermaid told us her story, complete with enchanting song. From there children were escorted to the table for tea time. Princess Belle poured each child a cup and Rapunzel, Little Mermaid, and Snow Queen explained some manners and etiquette.

After this it was game time! First was a fantastic dance routine, followed by musical chairs, princess scavenger hunt, and Pass Mrs Potts. All while this was going on, the party assistant cleared and re-set the table for the dessert portion.

Snow Queen and Rapunzel served all the children a cupcake (which all disappeared very fast!). Then the Snow Queen presented everyone with a present (Cotton Candy cups) to take home.

Before we said our goodbyes to the princesses, we moved the dessert table off to the side and used the backdrop as a photo booth backdrop. Each little girl had a photo taken with the princesses, which would be emailed to them a few days later.

The biggest thing I would suggest is make sure the performers you are hiring are high quality trained actresses. I have seen too many people hire from companys who either outsource or who have purchased halloween store costumes (not high quality princess gowns). Always check the company's Facebook page for reviews and costume quality. The characters we had were phenomenal and were trained in the art of leading children's birthday parties. They made this party magical, unforgettable, and easy as pie!
