Party Recap

My daughter's 4th birthday party was pink and yellow. We wanted her party to be outside and thankfully the weather cooperated. We had sprinklers and a slip and slide going for the kids as well as water balloons!

For the favors, we had glitter pinwheels in yellow (and the party bag was pink, of course), customized chocolate bars, bottles of bubbles, pink and yellow pencils, and tons of candy from the pinata.

All the party printables are from www.apartystudio.etsy.com (the Pink Lemonade collection).

Party Highlights

  • Best Dressed

Birthday girl wore a yellow tutu and her t-shirt said "daddy's main squeeze" (outfit from Gymboree).

  • Desserts

Chocolate and vanilla cupcakes. These were decorated with personalized cupcake toppers. We also had a home-made cake. Inside, the cake had pink and yellow layers. On the outside, it was white with fresh strawberries. This was decorated with a 4 inch party circle.

  • Activities / Games

Pass the parcel was a huge hit. We also played musical chairs.

  • What People Ate

Hubby grilled hot dogs. We also served cheese and crackers, potato chips, fruit platter and fairy bread (in pink and yellow)

  • What People Drank

We served lemonade. I put huge strawberries inside... too cute! Also, we had strawberry capri sun for the kids.
