Party Recap
We had a fairy tea party this year. Our theme is always polkadots and pink and green every year to keep expenses down. Then I just change key things to go with the theme each year. We had a craft, couple of games and then the tea party and then went outside for more fun!
Party Highlights
-
Desserts
yellow cake cupcakes with butter cream icing, short bread cookies, and cake pops, made with butter cake, covered with white chocolate and pink sprinkles. Also chocolate covered strawberries and the Fairy cake with yellow cake and fondant icing.
-
Activities / Games
flower and ribbon fairy wand craft, fairy board game. Fairy dust hunt and flower petal muscial chairs.
-
Budget
This party cost $400, that includes the food, party favors, craft and costumes for friends, not the ones for the my girls. However, I have been using a lot of this stuff since their first birthday party. We stick with the same colors and change the theme and add to it each year. I am guessing that do all the decor the way I have it now would be around $800 and that is not with cake and food.

Party Favors
Fairy dust bottles with smarty candy ground to powder, fairy wands and flower petal head bands.

I have not been on this site in a few years, so sorry for the late answer to some of the questions. No I didn't make the chicken tenders. They are chickfile. I have found I can make some of the food, but it is just too much to do it all myself with this kind of decorating in such a short time. No don't mind if you copy my ideas. Hope your parties turned out well.
