Reema's 40th Birthday Glam Gala

Reema is the Van Wilder of party hosting in the Naperville area. She has a huge group of friends and throws the best parties and hires the best vendors to help her do them. Her 40th birthday was no exception. She wanted to go BIG and PINK for this once in a lifetime fête!
We found the perfect venue in Sanctuary Events. This beautifully updated historic building in downtown Plainfield, is less than 15 minutes from the birthday girl's neighborhood. The space can easily be dressed up for a formal affair and worked perfectly for Reema's fancy 90 guest glam gala.
For the sips and bites- Reema favored a top shelf bar, heavy appetizers and huge sweets table over a more rigid formal seated dinner. She wanted her guests to eat, drink and DANCE and boy, did we!
DJ Chad provided the perfect soundtrack to this unforgettable night of partying. Classic Cuisines Catering kept the savory bites coming and Flour & Flowers by MK filled the sweets table with delicious desserts and an epic cake plus there were also colorful macarons from Just a Little Sugar. Kio Kreations (me) decorated the space with stunning fresh flowers, tropical foliage, candles, sparkly linens, shimmery fringe and lots of fun balloons. Alpha-lit Chicago's 40 marquee was perfectly accented with balloons and foliage and made for one of 3 photo op areas. The main photo backdrop area had a large round arch accented balloons, fringe and foliage with a side arch and floral arrangement accents as well. Reema ordered a Pixilated Photo Booth for in front of it which made group photo-taking a snap! The bar area features a spiral staircase which was accented with balloons, foliage and fringe and made for our other photo op area. Centerpieces adorned the bars and guest tables-- half were floral and filled with the hugest, most stunning magenta roses and tropical foliage and accented with candles and the rest were tall balloon + foliage combos which worked great in the high-ceiling-ed space. Gold leaf table runners lined the guest tables and magenta sequins accented the sweets table. Custom signage welcomed guests and led them to the bar area. Food and drink menus were also on display.
Reema was glam from head to toe thanks in part to her custom gown by Vibgyor by Monica Chopra, make up by Flawless Beauty by Nicole and Hair by Jess.

This was one fabulous night of adulting at its best! Reema and all of her guests (myself included) had the best time! What a way to ring in 40 years!
