Party Recap...
My oldest boy decided he wanted a Dinosaur party for his fourth birthday, and once I started doing some brainstorming, I realised what a fun theme it was! I got busy making paper mache Dinosaur eggs filled with baby dinosaurs, spraypainting and gluing Dinos on jars and making dinosaur tails. It was tons of fun. Our property is amazing for this type of party - with a jungle type section, it was perfect for Dinosaur hunts. When the kids arrived they painted dinosaurs then we had a dino hunt debrief, where the kids filled dino backpacks with binoculars, cameras, snack packs, and other items. We searched for Dino bones (some cow bones we had hidden), and then did a Dino Dig. The kids then ate a ton of Dinosaur themed food, and we did some experiments with Volcanoes!! We then went back on the hunt, and found a large nest full of paper mache eggs, and a large TREX mumma - luckily she was friendly! The kids had a great time and I loved the creativity of the theme!
