Sam is in a HUGE Robot phase, and we definitely wanted that as his theme. Also, with an invite list of 30 kids, we knew we couldn't do it in our home. Our local YMCA does a great gym party, but has a very generic party room. We planned the decorations to transform the space in a the 30 minutes we had to set up, and used lots of items from our store www.sunshinesam.com. We wanted the girls to enjoy the Robot theme as well, so we used lots of bright colors and include Sam's love of art. The kids loved that they could color on the table cloth, and that they had 3D glasses. The personalized muslin bags were a big hit with boys and girls. They had pencils that said "Take me to your leader", crayons in the shape of robots, robot erasers and lots of candy. It was sooooo fun. The cake was a hit as well. We scanned in an eeBoo floating robot from Sam's room, and our local grocery store printed it on the cake.
Personalized Robot bags from Sunshine Sam filled with art supplies from Oriental Trading and Etsy.

Combining Hi and Low Items
I loved using some of our pricier Sunshine Sam items, like the gift bags, with items from the dollar store, oriental trading, and of course, etsy! it made the party totally affordable and really eclectic.
This party was for my son, but we love to plan parties at Sunshine Sam, and even send complete parties to customers in a large box through the mail!http://www.sunshinesam.com
