Party Recap...

For her 7th Birthday, my daughter Julia wanted a rock star-diva party. So I was up to the task to create the ultimate rock celebration for my little cupcake. My daughter loves pink, but because she invited a few boys we decided to go with a different colour scheme - black and white and red - gender neutral but glamourous. We created the invitations with Kodak Gallery. The treat bags contained some chocolates, music pen with "I rock", bracelets, temporary tattoos, rock theme pencils and notepads. I printed the monograms for the treat bags from the Martha Stewart website. I used scrapbook paper for the place-mats. I even decided to personalize the water bottles for the kids...They love to see their names in print, so the bottles were definitely a hit. Every child also had the opportunity to colour and decorate their own paper guitar (which I was able to find in Michaels). We even had our own photo booth - every little rock star posed with their decorated guitars or a microphone. We played lots of fun games and I think everybody enjoyed themselves.
