Party to watch Prince William and Catherine Middleton get married LIVE! We started at 2 A.M. PDT in CA. Guests arrived in pj's and sweats (it was COLD!) to candles burning and a crackling fire in the fireplace. Mimosas and Gin Fizzes, coffee, or Twinings Queen Mary tea served from a genuine English china teapot; tea sandwiches, scones with assorted jams, banana bread, tarts and tartlets and a fruit/yogurt/granola parfait to nibble on. Cupcakes with proper toppers for dessert.
Guests entered to a wedding guest book to sign in, with the official wedding invitation displayed. Inside, the official engagement photograph graced the buffet, along with the official Royal Wedding Programme. The centerpiece was my own wedding cake top with a replica of the engagement ring inside a velvet ring box. A second ring was presented to the guest who answered correctly the most questions on a "How much do you know about Wills and Kate?" questionnaire that I made up myself.
Each guest was presented with a tiara (similar to the ones displayed on the buffet). A wonderful, memorable time was had by all!

A tossup: when William told Kate she looked beautiful at the altar, and when Kate asked William "are you happy?" in the carriage. Sigh.....
My Yorkies who were up WAY before they wanted to be, started barking at all the bells tolling!
