Declan's 1st Birthday Party

For my son's first birthday, we chose a safari theme with green, yellow and brown decorations.

• Desserts

  A beautiful two tier chocolate cake with green frosting on the bottom and blue on the top. I made the clouds and grass from fondant and used pretzel rods for the palm trees

• Party Favors

  Animal crackers in cute safari themed take out boxes

• What People Ate

  We ate safari subs, gorilla grapes, wild watermelon, jungle salad, cheetah chips, baboon banana cups and dirt cups.

• What People Drank

  Alligator-ade, pink flamingo punch and water.
