Samantha's Monster University Party

We was celebrating our daughter's 3rd birthday. At the time she loved this movie! I thought it would be cool to make that her theme for her party and dress her in character.

• What People Ate

  My food theme was based around chili. I made a spicy chili for the adults and non spicy for those who didn't want hot chili. I fried Nathan's french fries. I baked potatoes. I had fritos, jalapeno peppers, cheese, sour cream, etc... You could have made chili cheese fries, chili cheese slaw dogs, chili cheese bake potatoes, chili cheese fritos, etc... It was a hit! Everyone enjoyed it!

• What People Drank

  I made a punch with pineapple juice, pineapple slices, and green Hawaiian punch.

• Desserts

  I made her birthday cake myself. The flavor was pumpkin eggnog cake with eggnog icing! I had to buy and freeze the eggnog in December so could make it in Feb. Everyone loved it! I had no cake left over. I also made mini Reese's peanut butter cupcakes. That was also a big hit.

• Party Favors

  I made the party favor bags. I bought bags and use construction paper and glue to create the characters. I also, filled the bags with snacks that had monster university on the cover of each snack, each kid had a monster university cup, a monster university juice box, and monster university toys.
