Sam's Monster 4th Birthday

We had so much fun with this monster party! Sam loves monsters and is always pictures of them, so the theme was a perfect fit. I started with the monster illustrations, then created the invitation. To me, the color scheme is one of the most important parts of tying a party together. I chose bright blue with navy as the main color combo, with highlights of lime green and orange. I pulled these colors through the party with the printable, balloons and table ware, and frosting on the desserts. The dessert table was the main focus, featuring a cake with monster toppers, googley-eye cookies, and monster Rice Krispee Treats. My favorite feature of the party was the googley-eye cups. I found the idea on Pinterest and couldn't pass it up! I ordered a set of assorted googley eyes on Amazon and mixed them up for the cups. The kids really enjoyed these too!
