Party Recap

Next week I'll be turning 40, so to celebrate we went to Phillip Island for the weekend. We hired a holiday house and our family and friends came for a BBQ lunch on Sunday. After lunch we went to the beach, hired some wetsuits and surfboards and had some fun.

I had just as much fun in the planning of my event as I did in the event itself! I poured over pinterest for ideas for how I wanted my party to look. I knew that I wanted a chalkboard vintage theme. Having my birthday in Spring (in Australia) I was able to use some of the beautiful roses from my garden to decorate the table with. Check out our website for more details!

Sandra, I love the chalk boards. Your styling is excellent. Can I ask how you stenciled onto the chalk boards. Very professional. I'd like to do similar but haven't seen anything I can use. Regards,Lyndie
