Almost everything from this party was hand made. I made the Mickey ears with birthday headbands I got at the Dollar Tree. I undid the staples and stapled the circles with tabs for the ears. The centerpieces were styrofoam balls spray painted black. I used toothpicks to attach the ears to the head. The head is attached to a wooden skewer which is also spray painted black. The clay pots are from Michael's which were spray painted red. I glued buttons to the pot and used another piece of styrofoam in the pot to keep in place and stuffed with paper shreds also from the dollar store.

I made the Mickey ears with happy birthday headbands I got at the Dollar Tree. Just use a staple remover to remove the happy birthday sign originally on them. The ears are made with black card stock and were cut with a circle cutter about 3.5 inches in diameter. I left a tab at the bottom so I could staple to the headband. If you don't have a circle cutter, you can just use scissors and find a large cup to trace the circle with. Hope this helps. Good luck with your party.

These look fantastic! After many failed attempts to make these, what kind of dipping chocolate did you use and how did you get the stick to hold? Wonderful party

I used Wilton candy melts I bought from Michael's. After dipping the Oreo I inserted the stick and placed it on wax paper to let dry. After the chocolate hardens the stick should hold. Good luck!

Hello Beautiful job. Can you please tell me or email ([email protected]) how you made the treat bags and Happy Birthday banner. Please! Thank you

    Tatiana B wrote:

The treat bags are black gift bags I bought from Party City. For the ears, I used a circle cutter or you can trace your own circle and cut from black card stock paper. I also cut red card stock for the pants and used 2 white circles for the buttons. For the banner, I used a template I found online to cut the banner pieces which are made with card stock. The letters are printed from a Disney font I also found online- it's called Waltograph and you can download it for free. Good luck with your party.

Hi, what kind of spray paint/brand works for the syrofoam balls? I've heard that the chemicals in the spray paint eats the styrofoam.

    Tatiana B wrote:

I bought the spray paint at Michael's. I don't remember what brand it was but I did ask an employee that recommended the spray paint that worked best on styrofoam.

Thank you so much for your response. Just a few more questions (sorry for being so maticulos): I know you provided me with the Walt Disney font (thank you very much) but what about the rest? The 'meeska moska' font? The 'Happy Birthday' font & the 'Sebastian' font?
