Seth's Harry Potter 12th Birthday

Wizards and Muggles alike were welcome at this fantastic birthday party! This young man appealed to my inner nerd when he requested a Harry Potter themed party for his 12th birthday. And I was overjoyed to plan it for him!

The party started at the door where guests entered platform 9 3/4 in true Hogwarts fashion.
Once inside it was as if you had entered Hogwarts! There were flying keys, floating candles, and posters of the most wanted witches and wizards there were!

The fun started immediately when the littlest wizards and witches were sorted into houses, made their wands, and attended their first potions class. By mixing together Hiffogriff saliva, crushed dragon bones, and juice of a pheonix feather, they were able to make a bubbling truth serum!
The students helped free Dobby and attended Defense Against the Dark Arts where they tried their luck against a Dementor! He was eventually vanquished.
Once all of the House Points were counted, it was determined that Gryffindor and Slytherin were the houses going to the Quidditch Pitch for a final match! And let me tell you, these kids fought hard for that Golden Snitch!
In the end Gryffindor was the winner!! And all of the houses celebrated a great party with an amazing 5 foot Nagini cake!
