Shabby Pink Lemonade

The first hour of the shower, while guests were arriving, they enjoyed a variety of activities available to them- mixing their own gourmet lemonade, crafting a fabric flower headband for baby, leaving a 'blessing' for baby or family in the 'blessing jar', avoiding the word 'baby' as they visited, and eating delectable treats.
The next hour, guests introduced themselves and shared how each person knew the guest of honor and any story that they wanted to tell, then played baby shower bingo as the mother-to-be opened her gifts.
We closed out the event with a photo of mom to be and her friends prior to their departure. It was a relaxed shower on a hot summer evening in August, and fun was had by all!

  tortilla roll ups, cucumber chicken salad canapes, asparagus ham wraps, strawberry 'rosebuds', strawberry fudge, lemon tarts and vanilla bean cupcakes.

  lemonade with their choice of saucy mix ins- blueberry lavender, blackberry vanilla, strawberry agave or peach ginger.
