I was very excited about creating my daughters 1st birthday party! It was based around the Princess Ratbag pettiskirt. I brought Sienna her first pettiskirt at 2 months old and put away a special pink one for her first birthday party and all the female guests wore one aswell. The colour theme was pink and purple with a bit of bling! The table setting was based around these colours with a pink table cloth, purple organza sashs on the chairs and a glitter table runner. The lolly and dessert buffet was pink and purple with a beautiful matching banner which looked gorgeous behind the table! I made the pom poms myself and alot of the desserts were homemade, including the chocolate bar wrappers. I made the lolly bags which everyone filled up with lollies and desserts before they left. The options when decorating the buffet was endless and I loved adding ribbons to the boxes boxes and even the lolly scoops to colour coordinate everything. This was the first time we had a lolly buffet at one of our family parties and it was so much fun! Sienna had a great 1st birthday and now its time to concentrate on my sons birthday which is in 6 weeks :)
All the girls looked beautiful in their pettiskirts! And the princes looked pretty spunky too ;)
The main dessert was a beautiful white chocolate mud cake. There was also chocolate cake pops, vanilla cupcakes with pink icing and pink lamingtons filled with jam and cream
