Party Recap...
This was our 1st party and we wanted to make it extra special since it was also Skylar's 1st birthday party. We chose a Hello Kitty theme for the birthday girl. Doesn't every little girl love Hello Kitty?
Party Highlights
What People Ate
Mini hamburgers & hotdogs were inside the "Kitty Meals" (Party Boxes), that had a name tag for each child & a picture of Hello Kitty or Kerroppi. For drinks there were box juices (we wanted kids to be able to drink their juices on the go). We also had a juice dispenser. We had a beautiful 2-tier Hello Kitty cake & Hello Kitty cupcakes that had Hello Kitty cupcake toppers too. We served various platters and cold drinks for the adults.
INVITATIONS
We wanted to keep it sweet & simple. The envelope was pink that had a sweet verse about turning 1 & a name tag. The invitation had a picture of Skylar & the party details.
Activities / Games
We had a pink & purple jumping castle, ball bit for the toddlers & a sand pit, which we named the "Litterbox".
Party Favors
Favours were a DVD with Skylar's #1 Jams (Number 1 for her age & Number 1 on the music charts), it had all the songs that she loved at the time. Hello Kitty colouring pages with crayons, chips, sweets and a cold drink. This were put in pink & black gift bags with a cutout of Hello Kitty's face (for the girls) & Kerropi's face (for the boys) with each child's name inside them. We also attached Thank You tags to the gift bags.
