Party Recap

Families came to kick up their heels and have a good ol’ time courtesy of Southern Marin Mothers Club. A full BBQ lunch buffet of grilled hamburgers and hot dogs, all the sides and fixins, plus a cash bar were provided by the Tiburon Peninsula Club Cafe. Guests were entertained during the afternoon with classic cowboy music from The Born Lucky Duo. All the kids had a chance to ride real horses, Ginger and Bonnet, thanks to a visit by The Pony Express. The afternoon skies were filled with wonder and whimsy thanks to our good pal, The Bubble Man. The country themed decor was full of authentic details like real horseshoes, antique mason jars, galvanized metal lanterns, burlap bunting and bandanas. Everyone showed their silly sides with the western props at the Purple Monkey Photo Booth. An on-site playground plus farm-themed bounce houses were enjoyed by both big and small kids. Root beer floats, chalk art stations, face painters, glitter tattoo artists and a themed craft area sponsored by UrbanSitter brought more fun to the day. To top it all off, the SMMC Philanthropy team organized a very successful back to school supply and backpack donation drive benefitting the Ritter Center.
