Party Recap

This was a baby shower for a friend who was having a girl. I wanted everything to be pretty and girly yet modern, too and not too babyish looking.

  • Best Moment

Chatting with all the girls and seeing the baby! (Our guest of honor had her baby early, so she brought her to the shower.)

sugar cookies in favor bags and nailpolish for the girls that helped with the food/decor

  • Activities / Games

A game where we tried to drink 3 oz. of water in a baby bottle as fast as we could. Whomever drank the most in a minute won. A baby food tasting game. And a game where you try to draw a baby onto a paper plate that is on top of your head. The best baby picture (picked by the mama to be) wins.

  • Budget

    $200

I LOVE the letters in the BABY sign! We're these real sprinkles glued to foam letters?

Hi Shala, Yes, they are cake sprinkles glued to foam board. (Using a spray adhesive). It's a messy project but fun. You could also buy wooden letters too. I used wood frames for the sweets table and favors table, and they worked well.

Can I ask who designed the invitations for this party? I love them and would like to do something similar for my best friend's baby shower!
