Spy Party

This was one of my favourite parties! I instructed all the boys to wear black and supplied them with dark glasses and hats to unify their look. Upon arriving they were assigned spy names and finger printed wearing their badges on lanyards around their necks.

• What People Drank

  The bomb cups were actually coconut cups I spray painted since I couldn't find what I really wanted. The mock cameras and flashing red light really added to the overall ambience and of the crime scene tape was a given. :)

• Desserts

  My first and possibly last attempt at a fondant bomb cake which though it was less than stellar, made a huge impact. I also served cupcakes as the cake I foresaw being difficult to serve.

• Party Favors

  The loot bags were manilla envelopes with Top Secret labels on the front. Inside I included magic ink pens, a finger print kit, a small note book embellished with spy stamps, pop rocks and gun soaps I found on Etsy.

• Activities / Games

  The guests enjoyed shooting targets with nerf guns, making their way through the laser obstacle course, detonating balloon bombs, a decoding game and finally a treasure hunt sending them on a wild search throughout a nearby trail which led them to a black suitcase filled with their loot bags.
