Stephanie's Bridal Shower

We had a lovely bridal shower for Stephanie at our church. I used her wedding colors, lilac and gold, to decorate. For the centerpieces I made a wedding dress from tulle and cardboard. It was held up by hot sauce bottles that I recycled and placed a small bouquet in the bottle. Each guest was given a small vintage apron to wear as a favor. We prepared a dessert table with a variety of sweets and drank cucumber limeade. The bride is having a naked cake for her wedding so I decided to make a small version for her shower. We played several games and when she opened gifts we played bridal bingo. Everyone had a lovely time. We wish Stephanie blessings over her marrige.

  Desserts consisted of cheese cake and lemon cream shooters, cherry brownies, oreo balls, strawberries and grapes.

• Activities / Games

  I made an ugly crown with veil that had to be worn by anyone who said the word "wedding". "How well do you know your groom?" We asked the bride 20 questions about the groom. Bridal Bingo and "How many items can you remember"

  My daughter who is planning to be a wedding planner after high school.

  I'm teaching her to plan and decorate parties. She prepared most of the desserts and took all the pictures.
