super simple gender reveal
ByParty Recap
Jordan and Allyssa's gender reveal was held outdoors at the grandparent's-to-be on a lovely late summer's afternoon in 2016. Easy DIY decorations included vintage baby clothes, wildflower filled baby shoe centerpieces, a vintage stork decoration, a pink-n-blue rag swag garland, and giant construction paper rosettes. Citronella candles in glass punch cups and tiki torches burned to keep away any insects. The 35 guests enjoyed a variety of hors d'oeuvres and beverages before mommy-to-be pitched a "smoke" ball to daddy-to-be, who burst the ball open to emit a fine blue cloud. If there was any doubt of the gender, the blue was reiterated in the interior of a delicious homemade cake.
