Party Recap...
A sweet baby shower for a sweet Mama to BEE! :) This intimate, at home shower was hosted by family to welcome a sweet new baby girl to our family.
Party Highlights
What People Ate
Our focus was on the "sweets" to compliment our theme; so we kept the menu light; chicken salad w/crackers, pasta salad w/garlic breadsticks, broccoli salad, hummus w/pita, fresh vegetable trays with dip, homemade fruit kabobs, honeycomb-snack mix, popcorn, chocolate covered pretzels, and a variety of cheeses and crackers.
What People Drank
To compliment our "sweet as can bee" theme - we served Sweet iced tea in a glass "bee hive" pitcher. We also served bottled water and mini bottles of soda, all embellished to coordinate with our decorations.
Dessert
We offered a variety of sweets, including homemade chocolate covered strawberries, mini chocolate cupcakes (with choc chip frosting & little candy bees), mini lemon cupcakes (with vanilla frosting & little honey comb wafers), swiss chocolate swirl cake, fresh lemon cookies, chocolate covered "smore" pops, and vanilla cake pops.
