This is so cute how did you do the belt and the head bands? ?

Hi Nikki, For the belts I used foam paper that I cut in strips, then used wide ribbon to match for the back ties and attached them with the stapler, then added the shapes that came pre-cut with adhesive got those at hobby lobby. For the head bands I used hot glue to attach the ribbon and pipe cleaner, for the yellow part I used left over plastic Easter eggs that I spray painted and made a slit in the center to put the pigtails, and I got the headbands at the dollar store and just wrapped it with the same red ribbon. Good luck making them kids will love them!

How did you get all of these decorations? I want to throw my three year old a team umizoomi birthday

I made all the decorations because they don't sell team umizoomi decorations. If you go to Nick Jr you can print a lot of items for free and they have some instructions on how to make stuff. The little dinosaurs in this picture are from the dollar store and the cups are from oriental trading company.

Hi Amber! I didn't make the piñata I ordered it from a local candy store. The piñata was filed with a couple dozen bouncy balls instead of candy.

Hi great party. I’m planning my sons 4th birthday party and he is obsessed with team umizoomi. I am definitely going to try the belts and headbands and I was just wondering how thick your foam was for the belts also did u buy pink headbands or wrap them all in ribbon. Also I seen you had mentioned that there were free pro tables are those still available because there is still nothing to buy in this theme lol. Any help is greatly appreciated thank you so much in advance.

Hi Annette the foam sheet size was a 12”x18”x5mm. The head bands are from the dollar tree and yes I covered them all with ribbon. For the decorations I did have to make a lot of stuff the free printable came from this website check it out they still have a lot of things you can print for free http://www.nickelodeonparents.com/category/printables/ Just search team umzoomi and they will come up. Hope this helps.

Thank you so much and yes that helps a bunch. I was wondering how did you get the ribbon to stay on the headbands did you just wrap it or glue it as well. And I was wondering I would like to do goodie bags for the kids but have no idea as to what to put in them did you do any and if so what did you put in them. Thanks again.

Annette I used hot glue to make the ribbon stay. Once you put the hot glue on the ends then you should be able to just wrap without needing more glue. The glue only at the ends to keep from unwrapping. For the goodie bags stuff I like to put packs of movie popcorn, granola bars, gummy fruit snacks, small bags of chips, mini gold fish bags, and a course a few pieces of candy not to many though. I also like to buy snacks that have the most quantity for my money, especially if I need to make a lot of goodie bags. Hope you where able to find all the pro tables from the website I told you?

Where did you purchase the foam from I’m having trouble finding it also what did you use as for the pigtails and what did you use to make to display the headbands on. Sorry for all the questions I just loved your party and hope my sons turns out as awesome as yours did. Thanks

Annette the foam paper i got at hobby lobby. The yellow part of the pigtails are plastic Easter eggs that I spray painted the pigtail part are pipe cleaners that I covered with red ribbon using the hot glue gun. The display for the head bands is a empty oatmeal container that I painted over with acrylic paint. Use a box cutter to make a slit through the plastic eggs to feed the pigtail part through it. Hope this helps. I would love to see your party pls email me some photos [email protected]

Im sorry to bother you again. Ive bought everything to do the headbands except the pipe cleaner. I cant find the kind that looks like what you have on yours. All i find is skinny felt like pipe cleaner. What kind and size did you buy and where did you purchase it from. Thank you so much again.

Annette for the pigtails cut two strips of ribbon same length as the pipe cleaner. What you want to do is hot glue and hide it between the two pieces as ribbon. The pipe cleaner is going to allow you to bend and mold the pigtail shape you want. Poke a hole through the base of the round piece of the headband to insert the finished ribbon. I hope this makes sense? If you have any gaps between the two ribbons just continue to hot glue so it looks nice and flat.
