Party Recap
A very special vintage country fair themed 2nd birthday for my son Holden Nash. We called it the 2nd Annual "Holden County Fair". The main colors or the theme were red and aqua and the main party logo was a blue ribbon that said "2nd". Other inspirations were gingham, pinwheels, chalkboard signs and apple baskets. The dessert table was staged as a "Blue Ribbon Bake-Off" and the food table included hot dog steamers with toppings bar and a "Chili Cook-Off". Latticed topped pies were the main dessert staged as a "Pie Eating Contest". The kids enjoyed a host of country fair themed activities from Radio Flyer "Pony Rides", a series of vintage carnival booth games, "tractor" and "hay" rides as well as a Barn Dance!
