Party Recap...

Since the Mr. retired he's dived headlong into his hobby; radio controlled helicopters. I thought it would be fun to use his hobby as the theme for his birthday party. Each dish on the buffet was associated with rc helicopters. I used miniature helicopters as holders for the food tags. The top of his cake was a helicopter landing pad made of rolled buttercream with a helicopter on top. He was thrilled with his birthday bash. He was more thrilled to receive an AR Drone as a present from our son. This high tech helicopter is controlled by his smartphone. How cool is that!
