The Royal Baker
“A Bakery Fit for a Princess”

When my best friend from high school contacted me about decorating and planning her daughters first birthday party I was super excited!! I had been wanting to do a baking theme and thought this would be the perfect time since their last name is Baker! But the birthday girl’s mommy had other plans, she wanted a vintage princess feel. So to make us both happy (reminder we have been friends for 25 years) I dreamed up The Royal Baker: A Bakery fit for a Princess in the pastel colors so it would have the vintage feel as well. I started off with designing the invites to wrap around mini rolling pins, they were a big hit with the guests! I found the awning on Etsy, it came super quick and looked adorable! I designed the canvas backdrop and waiting until Easy Canvas Prints had one of their crazy sales to order. I picked up the marquee crown from Hobby Lobby along with the kraft letter J which I glittered. Reused our favorite Ikea frame spray painting it blue. The birthday girls mommy did all of the amazing desserts! The aprons I ordered off Amazon and spent a night hand cutting out the cupcake & cake stand then ironing them on. So glad I look the time, they turned out super cute! All of the kids had a great time decorating cupcakes.
