Party Recap

I helped a friend put together a 3rd birthday for her daughter, who turned 3 on July 3rd at 3:00 pm! My favorite decor items from this party were the miniature decorated cardboard boxes. I thought they were such a fun touch to add from the first movie. Definitely the ruffled tablecloth and a tie for third were the deocrated letters and the claw machine. Everyone, including the adults, had to try and win one of those little green aliens! For the desserts, my friend, who is so talented, made most of the desserts herself, with the exception of the sugar cookies. We had so many things to cram onto that "little" six foot table, that we ended up having to leave some things off..such as the cake pops that melted and started falling off the sticks! Birthday girl loved it, so what more could we ask for :)

Hey there! How did you do the miniature decorated boxes and the designs on the Lily sign?

Hello Danielle! The miniature cardboard boxes were purchased from Staples and I drew on them to replicate those in the movie. I designed and made the letters for LILY, using cardstock and some string.
