Party Recap...

For Trenton's 6th birthday, we decided a sleepover was in order...not just any sleepover, though, a campout! Since we knew his little brother would want in on the overnight fun, we decided to contain the tent area to our (thankfully large enough) back porch where we could keep an eye on them during the night. We decorated with lots of trees, twinkle lights and of course, bears! I used checkerboard wrapping paper that I found at the Dollar Tree for tablecloths as well as some wrapping paper that was covered in pawprints. For food, we enjoyed Barbeque favorites, pulled pork, baked beans, corn and iced tea. The kids enjoyed playing in the tent, making little owl favors to take home and most of all, making s'mores! The favors were bags of "Happy Trail's Mix" that i made up with all sorts of goodies! After all of the adults went home, we let the boys paint birdhouses and we read stories in the tent. It was a terrific party!
