Party Recap...
We had a fantastic time celebrating my oldest son turning 16. I wanted to keep it simple considering his age and not wanting to embarrass him with too much typical happy birthday stuff, so we decided to do a game night. It turned out so great! He was a very happy 16 year old - and everyone had a wonderful time.

What People Ate
We had a baked potato bar for dinner and then a hot chocolate bar and lots of different sweets. I tried incorporating the theme into all of the food like domino brownies, a cheese ball shaped into dice and rice krispie dice.
What People Drank
We had a hot chocolate bar, water bottles and kool aid
Dessert
We had a cake decorated with chocolate chess pieces and many other different types of desserts/sweets
Activities / Games
It was a game night theme, so everyone brought board games and we all played games together. Our favorite was playing spoons with everyone around the table. The little kids liked playing Twister.
