Party Recap

We had our son's 2nd birthday party at a tumbling center with trampolines, an inflatable, and a zip line for older kids. The instructer was very hands on with the kids. Birthday boy didn't do too much because he was very cautious, but we had some very cherished moments.

After they played and snacked, we gathered for present time at the request of birthday boy, who dutifully sat in his thinking chair! We sang the "present time" song from the series and it was very cozy energy :)

He opened "mail" (birthday cards) from mailbox and we sang the mail time song.

Then was cake time where we sang happy birthday and he was just beaming as he blew out his candles. It was precious!

The last 10 minutes, the kids did a barking contest where we'd announce "happiest, cutest, quietest, loudest" bark etc and gave them little ribbons with character punch outs then they made goody bags and got twisted balloons as they left.

He wore a shirt that had "Birthday boy" a picture of blue and his name underneath with a big "2" on the back with blue and green puppy. My daughter and I wore "mom/sister of the birthday boy" shirts with blue in a party hat. (Daddy works in oilfield so he wasn't here for it unfortunately)
