Party Recap

My son is a big fan of any and every underwater animal, movie, show, book, song, etc etc. When planning for his 3rd birthday, it was easy to pick a theme that was totally him. I think it's important to incorporate your theme throughout the party to really delight the children and give them the full experience. Here's my attempt at doing just that...

Thanks, Emily! I'm lucky enough to have a girlfriend who owns a paper boutique, so I give her my plans and ideas and she makes my paper goods. Otherwise, I just bought the small plastic bags at Michaels, filled them with the gummi fish, sharks and rings and stapled the topper on. (I think the over all size of the topper was 3x5, which I then folded in half to staple on.)

Hi Katie, Could you please tell me where you got the fish plates from? I love them. I am planning my daughters first birthday as under the sea. Thanks

Hi Jennifer! The fish plates are part of Hefty's Zoopals line. They sell a package of "Ocean Pals" plates that you should be able to find at any Target, Walmart, grocery store, etc. If you have trouble, you could always call Hefty's customer service and ask them which stores near you have them in stock. Happy 1st Birthday to your little girl! : )
