Party Recap...
My little girl loves Tinkerbell so it was an easy choice for her third birthday. It was a morning party so didn't go overboard with the food, just a few healthy snacks and a birthday cake. We decorated the yard as Pixie Hollow and hired Party Girl to do face painting and balloon animals (not related to tinkerbell but fantastic and a total hit with the kids).
Party Highlights
Best Moment
So much fun the whole day, seeing how excited she was when each of her friends arrived, and eating the cake of course.
Most Touching Moment
Vaeda sharing the candle blowing duties with her two boyfriends
Funniest Moment
Vaeda screaming "It's my birthday!" when we were bringing out the cake, singing happy birthday to herself
Best Dressed
Nana Trish - dressed as a beautiful fairy but then got full face paint as a tiger
What People Ate
Tinkerbell Cake, air popped popcorn, fruit kebabs, fairy bread
What People Drank
Milk boxes, water (soft drink and coffee for the adults)
Dessert
Birthday cake!
Activities / Games
Face painting, balloons, trampoline, Pass the parcel
Budget
$200 for the Party Girl hire (face painting, balloons and pass the parcel), $50 decorations, $20-$30 on food and drinks.
Party Favors
The guests got their faces painted and a balloon animal each (most wanted swords since they were dressed as pirates). There was also a pass the parcel and each kid got a small toy or two during that game
