Party Recap

Ruthie is 40! For such a fun and big birthday, we decided to run with the Vintage 1977 theme! We found the perfect 'Aged to Perfection' printables from I'd Rather Doodle, on Etsy, and used that as the main theme. Stacked pallets set up the backdrop for the main Bar table, utilizing both the front and back side with tables and decor! Pallets make the easiest way to set up party decor, and goes perfectly with the vintage theme! Stained crates added height and storage for the buffet, bar, and snore tables! Mason jars were used as vases and LED lanterns. BBQ was served buffet style, with handmade paper utensil holders, stamped with the Vintage 1977 theme. The tables were all covered in burlap, kraft paper, and a few pops of red! We had 10 bar top tables scattered around the yard, between the band and yard games! Bocce ball, corn hole and giant Jenga rounded out the activities. A welcome table was set up at the entry for guests to drop their gifts and cards before walking in to the party! It was a great time!
