Party Recap...
I knew from the moment I found out that my brother was expecting his first baby that I wanted to throw the shower and what the theme would be.
This 100 year old+ schoolhouse was the perfect setting for our vintage baseball themed baby shower.
I used a navy and white ticking stripe, burlap and red canvas fabrics as my base colors. Roasted peanuts provide an inexpensive filler and perfect compliment to the baseball theme. Light brown card stock was used to make the home plate under each red plate. The napkins were tied with twine and accented with small wooden baseball bats or flags that coordinated with the invitation.
Guests were asked to sign a vintage baseball bat that was placed upon a bed of roasted peanuts inside a vintage coke crate wagon.
The mom to be was photographed with each guest as presents were opened. This is a great way to remember who provided the gift without writing everything down.
A beautiful day for a very excited Mommy and Daddy!
